Happy Easter everyone! Only a place from EXCEL BOLT for us on Saturday in the treble. Yet I had nice other winners advised in DOESLESSTHANME, CAPTIVATOR and a place from CLOUDY BOB, who but for hitting the running rail in the final furlong could have won at 33-1!
So on to Sunday’s selections –
MAKE A TRACK 1525 FAIRYHOUSE – (nap) (unplaced)ran in a very hot handicap prior to Cheltenham and then gave a great account of himself in the MARTIN PIPE CONDITIONAL JOCKEYS RACE with the same jockey on board. I hope that will be enough to see him at least run to a place today! (3 points each way)
PRESIDENT LINCOLN 1520 MUSSELBURGH – (nb)(Won – 7-2 = + 9 points) ran in some creditable races for Aidan O’Brien last year and that form must give him a chance here in maiden company. The only niggling doubt is the softish ground. (2 point win)
BOUCHER GARCON 1730 MUSSELBURGH – (treble) (Won – 8-1 = +24 points)again another who has run crditably in handicaps the autumn of last year. A little step forward would see him go close here. (2 point each way)
STAKE = 12 points
RETURNS = + 33 points
BANK = +124.3points
STATS as of 8/4/12 WINS 15/55 27.2% NAPS 4/19 21% TREBLES 2/19 10.5%
The favourite thing for me about Easter is that the crucifixion reminds me of my all time favourite film.
