You can’t beat a Bank Holiday for hundreds of horses and then trying to find a winner or two! A good day on Sunday with PRESIDENT LINCOLN (7-2) and BOUCHER GARCON (8-1). Let’s hope that is a sign of things to come for the Aintree festival. The predicted rain could have some real effect on the ground!!
INVINCIBLE HERO 1545 REDCAR – (nap) (2nd – 5-1) had a great year last season with wins coming at Warwick, Ayr and Doncaster. He’s unexposed, and is off the same mark as when he came third at Newmarket when last seen. Surely he’s on the up again! (5 points win)
PANTXOA 1635 CHEPSTOW – (nb) (unplaced) proved he had the stamina last time with an impressive run at Kempton behing Bear’s Affair. My only worry is if the rain softens the ground too much. (3 points win)
REFRACTOR 1705 WARWICK – (treble) (unplaced) another unexposed type and one who is a type rhat seems to do well under Fanshawe. He also had a winner on this blog on Saturday, and I fancy this fella to follow that up. (2 points win)
STAKE = 10 points
RETURNS = 0 points
BANK = +114.3points
STATS as of 9/4/12 WINS 15/58 25.8% NAPS 4/20 20% TREBLES 2/2010%
Enjoy your bank holiday, whatever you’re up to! No doubt you will need one of these!
