Only a couple of days to go to the first Classics of the year, looking forwards to it. Received confirmation today from Coral that I won one of their Grand National finishes competition prizes. Won 2 Premier tickets to the Eclipse and £30 bets – awesome!
So, only a place on Wednesday from the three, although King Torus gave a good account. Here are Thursday’s selections –
SAVE THE BEES 1500 MUSSELBURGH – (nap) (2nd – 9-2) ran well on soft ground over a mile at Leicester earlier on this season, then found 7f too short last time out. The return to a mile should suit and the jockey and trainer had a 100-1 winner on Wednesday. (4 point win)
BOUCHER GARCON 1700 MUSSELBURGH – (nb) (unplaced) has ran well this year so far over this distance and in this ground. He only just got pipped last time and will hopefully hod on today. (3 point win)
PHLUKE 1910 BRIGHTON – (treble) (unplaced) loves it here and his last 7 runs here resulted in him finishing 3313213. Is usually best early in the season, the only worry is the ground. Great each way bet though. (3 points each way)
STAKE = 13 points
RETURNS = 0 points

Remember if you are having a wager to bet within your means. These are my selections and I am not suggesting you follow my advice, I only do this for a bit of fun!
