Saturday and Frankel

A super Saturday of racing ahead with the highlight being the return of the mighty Frankel. I really hope that set back hasn’t had an effect and we can see his glorious action to its full extent and of course that he wins!
Yesterday was a good day at York with CEILING KITTY (20-1) and ESTEDAAMA (6-1) obliging, aswell as 12-1, 5-1 and 8-1 places. My overall record at York was pretty good. Overall I had three winners and eight placed horses resulting in a 52% win or place ratio.
There really are some cracking races today, hope you enjoy all the action and I hope I can get a few winners for us all.
EXCEL BOLT 1605 THIRSK – (nap) (unplaced) Was a very speedy two year old and ran a very encouraging comeback ran after a long spell off last month at Musselburgh. The good ground will help as will the return to handicap company.
LAVA LAMP 1510 BANGOR – (nb) (FELL) hugely improved hurdler and ran a couple of crackers at Ffos Las but then disappointed at Aintree. His never give up attitude will surely suit the bigger obstacles.
ELKHART 1945 DONCASTER – (treble) (unplaced) is a ridiculous 33-1 as I write this. He has won on good to firm ground over 7f at Beverley and was second on it at Newmarket. Forgiven his last run on good to soft he may run a huge race at a huge price! EACH WAY BET

These are some other runners that have caught my eye today :
AL SAHAM 1505 NEWBURY (unplaced)
IBICENCO 1400 NEWBURY (unplaced)
LADY GORGEOUS 1445 NEWMARKET e/w (unplaced)
RHAGORI 1720 NEWBURY (4th – 11-1)
MON BRAV 1455 THIRSK e/w (unplaced)
WHOZTHECAT 1745 THIRSK unplaced)

Stats as of 19/5/12

WINS 32/189 = 17%
NAPS 11/56 = 19.6%
PLACED 45/189 = 23.8%
WIN OR PLACED 77/189 = 40.7%

Remember if you are having a wager to bet within your means. These are my selections and I am not suggesting you follow my advice, I only do this for a bit of fun!
