Saturday and the Ces

First and foremost today let's hope the fantastic Camelot is going to make a full recovery and we can all see him in action again! What a cracking day of racing there is today, Newmarket's card is awesome and so for that matter is Chepstow's. Chuck in the usual tough but competitive racing at York and we've got a cracker. With Champions Day on the horizon and Frankel's swansong who says racing is boring.

More importantly the Ces is always my marker to start getting excited about the jumpers – they're on their way and I can't wait. We are treated to some damn good jumpers today too at Chepstow. Looking forward to seeing how Fingal Bay gets on today. I saw him when I visited Phillip Hobbs' yard in the summer and he was simply beautiful. Hope he gets round safe and sound.
