Tuesday’s treble

Monday's nap HIPSTER ran a stinker, yet the nb got pipped on the line! Let's hope Tuesday fairs better!

Here are my best three for Tuesday.

BERMONDSEY BOB 1645 BRIGHTON (nap) – (non runner) has a great record here with a few course and distance successes. His second last time in a class higher was a solid showing. He is also 6lbs lower than his last winning mark. The draw is the only negative.

JEWELLERY 1830 NEWTON ABBOT (nb) – (4th – 9-1) course and distance winner and the return to this trip should be ideal for her and should bring out improvement. She has a real chance at this grade on her last winning mark.

LIGHT ROSE 2035 NEWBURY (treble) – (3rd – 6-1) won well on debut and there was something obviously amiss last time out. She has had a break since then and if something was wrong then, she could bunce back here.

Thursday’s Tips

Thought I would put a little blog up for tomorrows racing. Had a small amount of time to study the horses today so thought I would resurrect the blog. I may start to do a few more blogs when I get the chance, will try and do the next one for Saturdays racing. Here are my best three for tomorrow :

TOUCH GOLD 1510 HAYDOCK (nap) – is still relatively unexposed at this trip and should follow up the victories at Newmarket and Yarmouth here. The ground should be fine and other than Compton, I can't see anything else getting close.

NADEMA ROSE 1710 HAYDOCK (nb) – won well first time out over a mile at Yarmouth and then ran on well at Epsom last time suggesting the trip suits. Due to go up another 9lb soon so could be well in.

VARNISH 1550 BRIGHTON (treble) – knocking on the door over 10f and the extra distance plus a bit better ground should play into her strengths.

Tuesday Tips

Right, my blog returns after a few days off. Had an ace time over the weekend with the lads. Golfing at the excellent Matfen Hall Golf Club and then a spot of mountain biking around Kielder water on the Sunday.

I’ve only just seen the Black Caviar run and the near fatal error of her jockey, huge relief on his part. The horse that impressed me the most throughout the week (other than Frankel) was NEWFANGLED. One for the notebook there.

So, back to the blog, and another fantastic photo courtesy of Emma. Here are my best three for Tuesday.

KHIONE 2035 NEWBURY – (nap) (Won – 15-8) won well first time out at Nottingham on soft ground and the form got franked big time with impressive victory of CHIGUN last week who was second to the tip at Nottingham.

DOTTY DARROCH BEVERLEY 1700 – (nb) (3rd – 11-2) drops down to this grade and with conditions to suit should be dominant and the winner.

ROYAL DEFENCE 1615 BRIGHTON – (treble) (unplaced) is handicapped to go close after a good second last time here. I’m hopeful that the run last time will have woken him up abit more to take this.
